God Said “No”

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, “No.”
“It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.”

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, “No.”
“His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.”

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, “No.”
“Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; It isn’t granted, it is learned.”

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, “No.”
“I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.”

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, “No.”
“Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares And brings you closer to me.”

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, “No.”
“You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.”

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, “No.”
“I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.”

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said, “Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.”

Atheistic Alliance Says Religion Must Be Destroyed

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

I could go on and on about atheism (which is a religion in itself), but I won’t. What I will say is that I agree that religion should be destroyed. Religion has nothing to do with Jesus Christ. Jesus denounced religion. Jesus is about a relationship with the one true God and His Son who died to save us from sin, death and hell. So, since atheism is a form of religion, I agree wholeheartedly with the athistic alliance - Destroy religion!

Science must ultimately destroy organized religion, according to some of the leading atheist writers and intellectuals who spoke at a recent atheist conference in Northern Virginia. God is a myth, and children must not be schooled in any faith, they said, at the “Crystal Clear Atheism” event, sponsored by the Atheist Alliance International.

Some of the luminaries who spoke at the conference, held at the Crown Royal Hotel in Crystal City, Va., over the weekend, included Oxford professor Richard Dawkins, author Sam Harris and journalist Christopher Hitchens. The Atheist Alliance International describes itself as “the only democratic national atheist organization in the United States.”

While most attendees on Friday night were adamant that God was a myth, the convention, attended by hundreds of people, brought into focus a divide among atheists as to their identity as a movement and the nature of the enemy they faced.

In his speech, Dawkins portrayed a black-and-white intellectual battle between atheism and religion. He denounced the “preposterous nonsense of religious customs” and compared religion to racism. He also gave no quarter to moderate or liberal believers, asserting that “so-called moderate Christianity is simply an evasion.”

“If you’ve been taught to believe it by moderates, what’s to stop you from taking the next step and blowing yourself up?” he said.

Will Israel Apologize For Existing?

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

Let’s see here….Land for peace deals? Not working. So let’s try apologizing for ever existing in the first place. Maybe that will cause our enemies to leave us alone.

I truly cannot understand the thinking behind what is happening in Israel. Why can they not understand that there will never be peace when dealing with muslims?

Pressured for nearly two decades to swap land for peace that never came, Israel will next be asked to apologize to its Arab and Muslim enemies for coming into existence in the first place.

That’s what experts in conflict resolution have determined is the most expedient path for the Jewish state to take in turning around enemies who don’t accept Israel’s legitimacy as a Mideast state, reports Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin, the premium, online intelligence newsletter edited by the founder of WND.

“According to my sources, a new form of pressure will be placed on Israel – pressure to apologize for what Arabs call ‘al-Nabka,’ the catastrophe of the 1948 war that ended with the displacement of hundreds of thousands of them as refugees,” writes Farah in his G2 Bulletin report, available in full to subscribers only.

Farah writes that the basis of the argument for an Israeli apology is found in the Aug. 24 issue of Science magazine. In an article written by two researchers from John Jay College’s Center on Terrorism and a professor of “human understanding” at the University of Michigan, a new plan for conflict resolution in the Middle East is unveiled.

The researchers, who adamantly describe their work as “science,” say they went to the Middle East in February to conduct interviews in Syria, the Palestinian Authority and Israel and gauge emotional responses over suggestions for resolution of the conflict.

Rosie Turns Down Muslim Invite

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

Rosie is constantly opening her big mouth and criticizing President Bush, Christians, and anyone who disagrees with her liberal views. Recently, some muslim jihadists gave Rosie and invitation to come and live among them (what a great idea!). Now, Rosie is saying that it is absurd that these terrorists would agree with her and invite her over for tea and bombings.
Well, Rosie, no one else sees it as absurd- your views are right in line with those of the terror organizations we are trying to rid the world of. I think I can speak for millions of Americans when I say, “Rosie, please take them up on their offer!”.

A representative for Rosie O’Donnell has called an invitation extended to the former television talk host by Muslim terrorists leaders to visit the Middle East “absurd.”

The Mideast jihadists spoke out in a new book – “Schmoozing with Terrorists: From Hollywood to the Holy Land, Jihadists Reveal their Global Plans – to a Jew!” in which they applauded O’Donnell’s infamous statements about the war in Iraq and the global war on terror.

Meanwhile, O’Donnell’s soon-to-be-released memoirs, set to hit stores next week, reportedly defend her repeated disagreements on ABC’s “The View” with conservative-leaning co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck – times when O’Donnell made most of the statements the Islamic terrorists applauded.

“I agree with what this O’Donnell says. … We welcome Rosie O’Donnell to stay among us and to get to know the truth from being here, like many American peace activists are doing,” said Ala Senakreh, West Bank chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist organization.
